Chemical/thermal strengthening

Chemically strengthend glass offers an improved scratching, impact and bending strength, as well as an increased temperature stability.

Particularly with thin, strengthend glass many advantages result:

  • weight reduction, but stable,
  • decreased mounting costs.

The glasses can be flexibly handled, bent, polished matte-finished or etched.

Comparison of properties of chemically strengthened and untreated glass:

The above mentioned data are appoximate values. All remaining physical and chemical characteristics of the glass remain to a large extent uninfluenced.

Along with chemical strengthening we also offer thermal tempered glass as safety glass with the following characteristics:

  • high impact and bending strength
  • high bending strength
  • high scratch resistance
  • enhanced resistance to temperature changes
  • breaks into small particles
